What is Caucus?

Caucus is going to held on March 8th, 2022. This is when Republicans all over Utah get together in their neighborhoods and meet as a “precinct” to elect representatives to the party leadership. There are four(4) precinct officer positions and two or more delegate positions.

It is very likely that you will be meeting at a different location this time.  Because of the new census data and because of a last minute legislative change in dates many of you will go to a new location for caucus.

Where you should go depends on which House district you live in. If you are unsure your NEW house district go to this map and enter your address.  Then go back to the Caucus Locations list and see where your House District is meeting.

We appreciate help from anyone who is serious about promoting our Republican principles.

Start by filling out this “Get Involved” form. Another way is to look up your House District Chair and emailing them.

Precinct chairs are responsible for attending quarterly Central Committee Meetings (CCM) where they vote on various party business and elect Senate District Chairs. They also recruit new members of the party within their precinct and communicate with precinct members and delegates as needed.  All officers encourage e-club membership and other fundraising to help elect candidates who promote the principles found in the party platform.

Precinct Vice-Chairs assist and fill in for Precinct Chairs when they are unable to attend CCM. All officers encourage e-club membership and other fundraising to help elect candidates who promote the principles found in the party platform.

Precinct Secretaries assist the Precinct Chair and Vice-Chair with precinct membership records and positions tracking, and ensuring all contact data is current. All officers encourage e-club membership and other fundraising to help elect candidates who promote the principles found in the party platform.

Precinct Treasurer assists precinct chair and vice-chair while promoting and tracking fundraising for the precinct. All officers encourage e-club membership and other fundraising to help elect candidates who promote the principles found in the party platform.
